I’ve spent the last four months deliberating whether to keep Bloggy Giveaways open. This site has become a fun place to promote products and businesses that cater to women, and I am very proud that it has grown to this scale. In fact, it’s become so successful that the behind-the-scenes work required to administrate the site has required me to reconsider some professional priorities. My passion is in the behind-the-scenes coding and development of blogs, not in product marketing.

After discussing my options with Shannon (who originally started Bloggy Giveaways), we’ve decided to sell Bloggy Giveaways. If you are interested in more information (serious inquiries only, please), contact me for more details at askchilihead AT gmail dot com.

SONIC

In an effort to make learning about wildlife fun and meaningful for children, SONIC and the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) have partnered in a new ZOO Tot campaign. The 15 plush ZOO Tot toys, available during the month of April with the purchase of a Wacky Pack Kid’s Meal, are as adorable as they are educational. SONIC hopes the partnership and promotion will help raise awareness about the importance of wildlife conservation. Attached to each ZOO Tot is a link to www.soniczootots.com, an interactive Web site where customers can play games and learn more about their ZOO Tot animal.

Melanie here. SONIC is a regional phenomenon–you may not have one of these awesome drive-in diners in your area. If not, I weep for you. Their ice is to die for. They offer every drink combination imaginable. I’m partial to my tea, but when I want to branch out a vanilla Dr. Pepper is my next choice (or a cherry limeade). SONIC is a family favorite around here. I went to college in the town where they started, but my love affair with SONIC has been going on for over 30 years!
