A little more about them:
CurlyQ Cuties was started in early
2008 by mompreneur Stephanie Estrin with a store on Etsy selling ready-made
plush Monster toys. As the business grew, Stephanie recognized
a trend towards customers requesting customized variations of her ready-made
Monsters. Based on this demand, the CurlyQ Cuties website was
developed to make it easy to design your own plush Monster toy and we’ve
been running to keep up with the business ever since.
The CurlyQ Cuties website (http://www.curlyqcuties.com) has a made-to-order feature that allows you
to interactively select from a variety of parts to configure your Monster’s:
- Body Type
- Body Color
- Mouth Type
- Eye Type
- Eye Color
- Belly Type
- Belly Color
The kid-friendly design tool provides
a graphical representation of both the individual Monster parts and
the overall Monster being designed. Changing any of the Monster
parts is as simple as double-clicking on a new Monster part. Alternately,
the new Monster part can be dragged and dropped onto the Monster being
designed. Once a customer is happy with their Monster design and
places an order, their unique Monster design is promptly made by hand
in Austin, Texas and shipped to them via USPS Priority Mail. Most
orders are fulfilled within 5 business days.
The CurlyQ Cuties website also features
a picture gallery of selected made-to-order Monsters and an array of
collectible ready-made plush Monsters available for purchase.
