LeapFrog: Tag System

This giveaway is closed.

Today’s featured company:
LeapFrog’s Tag System

A little more about them:
LeapFrog has launched 1 Million Reading Hours in conjunction with the NEA’s National Reading Month, to bring attention to literacy and to encourage families to make time to read together.  By pledging to set aside at least 10 minutes a day, parents can contribute to the national goal of 1 million reading hours committed. More importantly, they can reinforce the importance of shared reading time in their own family.

Some examples of what they do:

What they’re giving away:
One lucky winner will one Tag reader + 5 books for personal use, as well as an expanded-memory LeapFrog School Tag reader + 10 books to donate to their local library! What a great way to give back to your community!

How you can win:
This is a little different than usual, so please read these instructions. If you don’t follow the instructions, you will not win even if you leave a generic comment. It’s true, I actually read the comments.

You can enter this LeapFrog giveaway by leaving a comment stating how much time you pledged in the LeapFrog 1 Million Reading Hours Campaign.

Who is eligible:
You must have a US or Canadian mailing address. You don’t have to be a blogger to win, just supply a valid e-mail address.

When the giveaway ends:
Friday, March 20. I’ll e-mail the winner(s), and results are always posted here as well. If the winner doesn’t respond within four business days, a new winner will be drawn.

We pledged to read 20 minutes a day. We’re probably in the ballpark now, but this will certainly motivate us! Thanks :)

  28. I pledged 20 minutes to each child. I have a 7 year old son and a 21 month old daughter. My son reads about 10 minutes everyday after school & “Bean” usually gets up on the couch with him to “read” along. Reading is an everyday activity in our house but sometimes it gets lost in the shuffle of everyday life.

    Thanks!

I just pledged to read 20 minutes a day on the Leapfrog Reading website. I pledged, but I already read to my 2 sons daily. My youngest son (age 3)LOVES the library. We go every 2 weeks and fill up a bag with all kinds of different childrens books. I find that it makes bedtime easier because there’s something he’s looking forward to. My older son and I have been reading the latest James Patterson novel. He’s 11 years old and the book is a little advanced for him, but I guess most of the books I read for my 3 year old are a little advanced for him too! I would be proud to be able to be part of getting one of these systems for our local library.

    Thanks for the contest.
